We believe in the power of cooperation to make the world a better place. We promote collective sensemaking and common purpose driven participation in extraordinary groups by creating cultures of trust and reciprocity that honor diversity and acceptance and by designing and activating networks of open communication. Our approach is unabashedly human-centered and combines qualitative insight with Ph.D. grade quantitative methods to help groups engage in creative, evidence based decision making. It requires both design and science. But the result is pure magic. We read voraciously across many disciplines. We're hybrid thinkers and we're not afraid of ambiguity. It is often hard for us to contain our excitement. Because our philosophy tends to be "all in," we can't help but become attached to our clients. Meaningful work makes us tick. And we love what we do.

What We Do

Working with groups of all kinds, in both the public and private sectors, we offer qualitative and quantitative data analytics and modeling, including narrative analysis and ethnography, digital platform development and deployment, communications design and facilitated workshops. Our thinking combines research, analysis and design with complex systems theory, social network theory and a deep understanding of how humans make decisions. Collaboration, co-creation and contextual learning are at the center of what we do.

About Gregory Todd Jones

Gregory has long been fascinated with how groups of people cooperate for mutual advantage. A leading researcher, consultant, facilitator and educator, he specializes in leveraging broad, multidisciplinary insight to help organizations actively listen to their stakeholders, create a culture of collaborative thinking and innovation, manage conflict and maximize the strategic value of effective group decision making.

He is a life-long student, having earned a B.A. in philosophy (Yea, Sewanee's Right!), a M.B.A. in decision sciences and information systems, a M.P.A. in policy analysis and evaluation, a law degree and a Ph.D. in decision sciences...so far. He serves on the faculty of law at Georgia State University, where he is Director of Research at the Interuniversity Consortium on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and on the faculty of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, where he teaches analysis and decision-making. When he is not reading, writing, or working with groups, he escapes to his woodshop where he designs and builds furniture from scratch.
